Graduates of the Industrial Electricity program are qualified, through on-the-job and classroom training, to enter the workforce as qualified electricians. They will be able to plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and residential electrical systems.
 
Industrial electricity technicians install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including those in motors, transformers, wiring, switches, alarms, and programmable logic control systems. Tools used to accomplish this work include voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and other technical test equipment.
